Dr Sara Clark

Dr Clark is an experienced Specialist General Surgeon holding a Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons. She has completed an additional two years of highly competitive subspecialised training in breast cancer surgery awarded by the BreastSurgANZ Postfellowship Training Program. She is a full member of BreastSurgANZ and a certified endoscopist accredited by GESA in gastroscopy and colonoscopy. Dr Clark is committed to delivering high quality care for patients in both public and private settings across our regional community.

Originally from rural North-East Victoria, Dr Clark understands the importance of accessible, high-quality healthcare close to home. She is committed to delivering patient-centred care, working closely with each individual to support informed decision-making and optimal outcomes. After working as a Consultant General Surgeon in Orange, NSW, Dr Clark has established her practice in the Albury/Wodonga region, bringing her experience back to the community where she grew up. 



Dr Clark holds a Master of Surgery and a Postgraduate Certificate in Onco-Aesthetic Breast Surgery (UK). She completed her medical degree at the University of Sydney, including rural training in Dubbo through the NSW Rural Doctors Network Cadetship, and undertook her early clinical training in Wagga Wagga. She subsequently completed specialist training in General Surgery across Newcastle and the Central Coast, achieving Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS) in 2019.

 

Dr Clark gained competitive entry into the BreastSurg ANZ Postfellowship Training program where she completed intensive specialised breast cancer and reconstructive training at the prestigious Chris O'Brien Lifehouse (Sydney) and Concord Repatriation General Hospital.
